Awful Shot Showcase #5 | Touhou 11 SA - Lunatic No-Bomb 1cc, MarisaC 【東方地霊殿】

Welcome to episode 5 of ASS. In this series, I will be LNBing each of the Touhou games with the worst shot type, so others don’t have to. Oh my God, this was so annoying to do. MarisaC is easily the worst shot in Subterranean Animism, not even ReimuB comes close. This shot has mediocre damage, but deals more than ReimuB and MarisaB Fire... if you can actually land all 4 shots. There is also an insane delay on the missiles, good luck trying to hit your enemy when you’re moving all over the place. She has no range/utility for stages, and there’s also the disgusting Satori fight which is probably the hardest of the 6 variants thanks to EXTEEEENDING AAAAARM (a completely nonsensical spell). There’s also that extra fat hitbox that returns from MoF (3.5 pixels instead of her usual 3.0), it’s not as bad as it was in that game since SA has less of a focus on micro-dodging, but it’s still not great. Next time, we will be doing Phantasmagoria of Flower View Lunatic No-Bomb No-Charge with Mystia... oh boy.
