The GYROKINESIS® Method is a movement method that coordinates movement, breath, and mental focus. Gyrokinesis exercises address the entire body by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences.
Unlike the Gyrotonic Method, which is practiced on equipment, the Gyrokinesis Method is practiced on a mat and chair, without equipment.
Within the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® Method, there are two distinct methods of practice: the GYROTONIC® Method and the GYROKINESIS® Method. This video is a preview of the GYROKINESIS® Method.
