They may include Dallemagne, Cyril Tolley, Jim Bruen, Henry Cotton and Arthur Locke. Spectators follow the players over the course. Brief M/S of a dour-faced woman in a plastic mac. Note: it is difficult to confirm the identity of the men seen here. According to Whitaker’s Almanack the winner of the 1938 Open Golf Championship was R A Whitcombe of Great Britain - he may be seen among them but is not recoginsed by this cataloguer.
