By a strange chance of fate I was working on this video as I learned of Nick’s passing. This video goes out to him and his legacy. David Ellefson is the best to partner and follow Mustaine’s complex rhythms and song structures. He also provides a solid and cutting foundation, with melodic arrangements that intertwine and add to the songs. This is his most known bassline, as strong reference for bass in the genre.
