Unissued / Unused material - Cape Kennedy, Florida, United States of America (USA). MS At dawn and the cars arrive at Cape Kennedy bringing the astronauts. GV Rocket on pad at the Cape. Pan to small building with transfer van outside, pan back to pad. CU NASA sign. CU Newsreel cameramen (American.). MS The two astronauts Tom Stafford and Eugene Cernan they leave building and get into transfer van. VS The van leaves and then is seen arriving at the pad. LS And zooms in and out of Agena rocket on pad with gantry around. VS Pressmen setting their camera with long lens etc. LS Hold for a long while and then the Agena fires and the Gemini 9 lifts off and launches , no tilt. LS Picking up the rocket soon after leaving pad and then following into space, we lose it a couple of times and then we pick up the vapour trail. (F.G.)
