Here is a special one! Coleman Hawkins transcription of his rendition on Ballad (that’s also the name in the Omnibook) together with Charlie Parker in 1950 for a BBC Tv Special. It’s taken from a documentary called “The Charlie Parker Story“ by BBC4“. Coleman hawkins play the most beautiful of lines, make sure you try out this transcription! Importante Note!: The audio on the video’s on Youtube are pitched half tone higher, this one corresponds with the Charlie Parker Omnibook key and also with the fingerings Coleman uses.
