The Dee Jays with John Shaw - The Metro Twist, Pt 1 & 2 - 1962 - Scanlens

This ridiculous piece of vinyl from 1962 was given out as a promotion to people who purchased Scanlen’s Metro Gum from Woolworths. The Dee Jays are of course J’O’K’s Rockin’ backing and instrumental hitmakers, and John Shaw was a local singer in Adelaide who cut a few 78’s in the 40’s/50’s. Terribly sung, Horrible arrangement and hideously too long, this hotch potch rareity is indeed just that.
