Ghosts of Pripyat, Part I

In June 2009, photographer Ian Sheehy and myself, traveled to Chernobyl. This is a two part montage of the two days we spent there. Part 1 focuses on our arrival in Chernobyl and a visit of an abandoned apartment complex. Part 2 will have an intimate look at building interiors like schools and hospitals. This was shot with a Canon 5d mkII using a combination of Canon and Nikon lenses. I used NIN music from Ghost I-IV. This is in remembrance of the Chernobyl disaster of April 26th, 1986. Marc A. Samson
