Sad but true. Anyone else in this situation?
I Was 24 when i posted this fragment of the emotion i was going trough, it was a cinematographic depiction better described than i could explain in my own words.
At the the age of 31 i would still do what Tom did, if you like someone, and you decide to give it a shoot, make sure you give not 100% give 200%, don’t be someone else, be who you are, but do everything in your power as a partner, lover or a best friend.
At the end of the day you will end up happy or alone, but in both situations you will have nothing to regret as YOU made the decision to give your best.
Lets say you did that and you have no drawbacks or regrets and if your best was not good enough, they never deserved you, they value other things, and yeah, you will walk away with clear conscience and a pure heart without a single tear.
Down the road you will find someone who will appreciate you for what you are, don’t settle for someone who will give you a speck of love, when you can have the entire universe, shoot for the moon and if you miss, the worst thing that could happen, you will fall between the stars ;)
Being alone and sad is far better than being with someone and miserable.
