The Prudente de Morais Avenue in the central-southern region suffered significant damage, with a dental clinic flooded and power outages reported in the aftermath of the storm. In the Luxembourg district, strong currents carried away several vehicles, prompting individuals to risk their lives in attempts to rescue the swept-away transportation. Eyewitnesses reported that at least 15 cars were swept away due to the flooding, highlighting the severity of the situation caused by the intense rainfall in Belo Horizonte.
