What Would I Change it To? Avicii tribute

I was in the air flying back from Asia on Tim’s 1 year anniversary but I wanted to make a tribute to him anyway and keep the promise that I’d made to learn guitar so I could play this song we wrote but never got to perform in his honor. I hope you hear in these lyrics what Tim heard - he always wanted to uplift people even whilst he struggled with his own issues and I’m forever grateful that he believed in this song and brought it to life. I try to live by the words in this song, to get closer to being myself because I know the toll this industry can take on anyones mental health in the way it encourages you to be super human or larger than than just someone you’re not but aspire to be. But why change yourself if you wouldn’t change the color of a perfect blue sky? . my friend Avicii
