A Lap of the New Albert Park F1 Circuit

As Albert Park begins to take shape ahead of the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022, we jumped in the car to take a time-lapsed lap of the modified circuit - giving fans their first look at a completed lap. It’s been a long time coming for Melbourne and the Australian Grand Prix, with the modifications to the Albert Park Formula 1® Circuit designed to reward more aggressive driving with more overtaking opportunities. With the team from iEDM and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation putting the final touches on the circuit ahead of the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix, this is your first look at what the drivers will see when they hit the Albert Park surface for the first time since 2019 (construction work and all). Albert Park a public use facility for the majority of the year with the park only closing to the public during event week.
