Paint a smile on Christmas: A Fund-Raising Drive for the Super Typhoon Victims in Sibonga, Cebu Philippines. On December 16th, my wife’s hometown of Sibonga, Cebu was drastically affected by Super Typhoon Odette (Rai) . Many residents lost their homes, businesses and belongings. Currently, there is no power and some reports say that it won’t be fully restored for up to 6 months. The electricity, water and communications are all in dire straits. My wife’s family has a long history of feeding the poor on Christmas day in Sibonga and we expect this tradition to continue this year. The purpose o...f of this gofundme page is to raise funds to feed people who are in need, especially in the village/isolated areas. We expect to provide rice, canned goods and hopefully hot prepared meals as soon as possible.
