Stereo Madness, but space and time are swapped (READ DESCRIPTION) — Geometry Dash

Stereo Madness, but space and time are swapped. Questions and answers about this video. Q: What does mean “space and time are swapped“? A: Space and time refers to the horizontal axis (X-axis) and the time axis (T-axis). Q: How does it work? A: Imagine the entire video as a box, where each layer is one frame. And we “cut“ this cube into frames from the other side, not along the T-axis, but along the X-axis. Q: Why is the player only visible at 0:21-0:26? A: Visually, the player stands at one place along the X-axis. And since the X- and T-axes are swapped, now the player is visible only at one time. Q: Why is the video shorter than the level itself? A: In order for the video resolution to remain the same after conversion, the number of frames in it must be equal to the frame width. For 4K resolution, this is 3840 pixels, which means that the original video needs to have 3840 frames. Accordingly, I had to record the level not on usual 60 fps, but on ~ 44.8 fps, so that the recorded video had the required number of frames. And for the converted video, fps was increased to 60, while the number of frames remained the same. Therefore, the length of the video has decreased (to 3840/60 = 64 seconds). Q: What happened to the music? A: I thought that it would be wrong to insert ordinary music into such a strange video. So what I did was take the music from the level, convert it to a picture, flip it on the X-axis, and convert that picture back to sound. Well, since the length of the video has decreased for the reason above, in addition, the converted music has been sped up. To convert sound to picture and back, I used this site: Q: How long did it take to create this video? A: It took my computer a total of almost 15 hours to convert the video (and ~95 GB of free disk space). But I wrote the code for this in less than an hour. I’ve already optimized the code, next time should work faster. Also I can record any your level in high quality. Write to me in Discord (LeTim#2685).
