The footage in this commercial is basically the same as in the other California Dream Barbie commercial, with two exceptions. In this version, after Barbie buries Ken in the sand, it shows her sitting beside him and she pats him on the head. In the other version, she buries him in the sand and then all of her California friends look down at him. This version mentions her palm tree earrings, but the other version doesn’t.
