We ran out convincing 4-0 winners over Chelsea on Saturday in what was arguably our best performance of the season so far. After a cagey start to the first half, with no clear-cut chances for either side, we took the lead through Khayon Edwards, who headed home Elian Quesada-Thorn’s dinked cross to score his 13th goal of the season. We doubled our advantage minutes later, Charles Sagoe Jr latching on to James Sweet’s pinpoint through ball and finishing coolly past the onrushing Prince Adegoke. Our hold on the game continued right through to the break as our 11-minute flurry of goals left the Blues shellshocked. Dan Micciche handed a debut to Lino Sousa midway through the second half as we sustained our spell of dominance over our London rivals and threatened to increase our advantage. We finally added our third through Bradley Ibrahim, who bundled the ball over the line after a goalmouth scramble from a dangerous corner that Chelsea failed to clear.
