The Amarr Empire is the largest of the empires in New Eden, spanning a colossal 40% of the inhabited solar systems in the cluster. Amarr is a theocracy and a ritualistic, authoritarian imperial state where the ruling figure, Empress Catiz I, holds near-absolute power. Religion remains of great importance to every Amarr, a fervor which at various times has been responsible both for great good and great evil. They believe their mission is to reclaim the wayward and deliver them from evil, seeing themselves as the chosen of the one true god.
