This documentary film made in 1957 recounts the 1955 journey of seven men who took a canoe expedition from Athabaska Lake to Hudson Bay. Narrated by Fred Pessle, the film showcases their daring journey. Tragically, the expedition resulted in tragedy as the leader, Arthur Moffat, was thrown from his canoe in uncharted rapids, and died of exposure in the freezing waters.
