The Black Hornet Nano military unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) measures around 10 cm x 2.5 cm and provides troops on the ground with local situational awareness. Used operationally by the UK’s Brigade Reconnaissance Force. An example of the modern technology used by British Forces out in Afghanistan.
