The Swedish military from the reforms of Karl XI in the end of the 17th century and onwards was a strictly religious war machine that believed themselves to be fighting in the name of God. Thanks to this strict religion the Caroleans refused to surrender and fought with all their strength against enemies that were often many times their own numbers - and the Caroleans always won. In memory of the greatest warriors of the age of muskets - our own, Swedish countrymen. The Caroleans.
