A mercenary from Georgia, who fought for the AFU, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the DPR The investigation found that in March 2022, Mamuki Gatsarelia, a citizen of Georgia, became a mercenary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive material remuneration. After training, he arrived in the city of Mariupol and participated in the armed conflict. ️The investigation have established and proven that on April 1, 2022, Gatsarelia, while in a combat position located in an apartment building, shot four Russian soldiers with a machine gun. Three of them died on the spot, one managed to survive. Gatsarelia admitted his guilt in full and repented for his actions.
