This is an alternate version of T For Texas, recorded July 7th 1976 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. You can find it on Collectybles, the great double cd release from 2000. This wasn’t used for the live album One More From The Road, so, if you never heard it before, here it is. I hope you enjoy. It’s as good as the other, needless to say. If you know the original Jimmie Rodgers song, you may find this Skynyrd version a little more... powerful. In memory of the freebirds...
