Space Shuttle Lift Off, Alpha ( Vangelis) over Hubble Mission Footage

I find it very amusing that the Mayas were doing astronomy way before Galileo, yet for some reason they get no credit for it, and they were doing this stuff at least 2 thousand years if no more, before Galileo. I see no Moons Galaxies or anything name after a Mayan prominent figure, or priest. How about the Egyptians, who shared almost the same “pattern“ with Mayan Astrology, and Astronomy.?
