Zatoichi 座頭市 - O’Sei’s dance

This is from the 2003 Japanese samurai drama and action film “Zatoichi“, directed, written, co-edited, and starring Takeshi Kitano (“Beat“ Takeshi). Kitano plays the role of the blind swordsman. In this story, the two geisha siblings (one of whom is actually a man = O’Sei) are seeking revenge for the murder of their parents. The performance of Daigorō Tachibana as “O-Sei“ earned him the 13th Tokyo Sports Film Awards - Japanese Arts and Entertainment Division Grand Prize.
