Full titles read: “TO THE ROOF OF THE WORLD - With Nanga Parbat Expedition in the Himalayas.“ L/S’s of hundreds mountaineers loading and preparing their rucksacks and supplies at the foot of the mountain. M/S of Captain Sangster and Captain Frier (Fry?) sitting down amongst their supplies. Good M/S of Head Sardar Lewa (the famous guide). Very Good L/S’s of the expedition led by Herran Merkl trudging up the snow covered mountain of Nanga Parbat. Features the approach to the mountain accompanied by 600 sherpas. Several shots of the expeditionary force sitting down and resting at base camp before continuing their trek up the mountainside.
