Grand Master, Kiyohide Shinjo, 9th dan, founder and chairman of the Kenyukai Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do Org. in his younger years participating in the world karate championship, bare knuckle karate fights. Shinjo Sensei was though enough to win this tournament 9 years in a row earning him the nickname, Okinawa Superman.
