Resident Evil Village - Max Settings Running on M1 Max Mac Studio

Walking through Castle Dimitrescu acts as a great visual showcase and graphical benchmark for Resident Evil Village on the Mac Studio equipped with an M1 Max chip (32 core GPU) and 32 GB of unified RAM. The frame rate is stable at 75 FPS while rendering at max settings and 2560x1080 while using the MetalFX Quality setting. Two things to note compared to playing the game on a Windows PC: 1. The visual presentation with MetalFX Quality is stunning and much cleaner than FSR used in the Windows version as well as the weak TAA implementation the game has. It’s a win-win for improving both visual quality and performance. 2. My Mac Studio was completely silent the entire time I was playing, which was for a few hours by the time I recorded this video. The Mac was almost cool to the touch, I honestly thought my fans were broken, but you can slightly hear them if you get real close. Overall, this is a great showing for Apple Silicon’s gaming potential, and every M1 or M2 Mac owner
