First run of Merlin 25 engine in 50 years!

This engine (Port Engine) is out of the De Havilland Mosquito from the John Smith collection, the aircraft is being prepared for display in the Aviation Heritage Centre at Omaka near Blenheim in New Zealand. The aircraft will be on static display within the museum, the engine only has hours on it and thanks to the support and permission from the Smith family we have been able to get this engine running before installing it back in the aircraft.
