Watercolour sketching plein air with Grabie watercolors

Hi there today I am plein air watercolour sketching - trying out some new Grabie Premium watercolours and equipment. In the first part of the video I tried a sunset scene on Grabie cold pressed (NOT) watercolour paper. This was great fun and gave me a chance to use the brighter, more vivid reds and oranges. In the second part of the video I took Basil with me for some landscape sketching. Lots of greens to mix in the early Autumn landscape! I found the Grabie watercolours (watercolors in US) very easy to use and enjoyed them a lot. They stayed wet and useable. The synthetic Grabie brushed were also better than I expected which was a bonus! Here is a link to the Grabie watercolours if you’d like to take a look: Thanks for watching - bye for now - Andrew Like the video? Why not buy me a coffee?
