Knitting the COZIEST Cable Sweater | Knives Out x When Harry Met Sally | Recreating Pieces from Film

Autumn/fall has finally arrived, and I wanted to knit myself the ultimate cosy cable sweater. So, what better inspiration than the famous fisherman’s sweaters from When Harry Met Sally and Knives out? Again and as always, this project was knit freehand. I used an aran weight wool (it’s an aran sweater!) with (primarily) circular 5mm needles. The costume designer for Knives Out, Jenny Eagan, has been reported saying that she could not remember where she sourced the original. However, later sources have revealed that it may have been from The Kooples. This project is not a replica of either garment, but a personal interpretation of both garments combined.
