In this footage, I’m flying the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighter jet and dogfighting Iraqi Mig-21, Mig-23, Mig-27 and Mig-29. HUD footage or HUD Tapes can be seen as a modern version of gun cameras, also known as guncam or gun cam, which are a special type of cameras mounted on aircraft and used primarily to help measure tactical effectiveness and were commonly used on operational aircraft to record air kills.
