Jeff Lynne (.) ~ September Song #jefflynne #SeptemberSong #ArmchairTheatre #kurtweill #elo

Jeff Lynne ~ September Song (Kurt Weill, Maxwell Anderson) ‘September Song’ came from Jeff’s debut solo album ‘Armchair Theatre’ released on the Reprise label in 1990. Now licensed to Columbia/Legacy. Jeff was one of the founding members of The Move, formed The Electric Light Orchestra with fellow Move member Roy Wood, and formed the supergroup The Travelling Wilburys (Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty). Apart from Beatles producer George Martin, Jeff Lynne would have happily slotted in as the Fifth Beatle. The Beatles inspired the formation of Electric Light Orchestra and you can hear Beatles inspired themes in many of Neil Finn’s (Crowded House) songs.
