I can’t think of a better birthday gift than a sketching & painting trip to Charleston, SC. Mostly to do some historical, urban and architectural watercolor sketches. This was really fun and I learned a lot. Being a studio painter and illustrator for so many years, the mindset is quite different than painting and sketching on location.
