Unused / unissued footage - locations and dates unknown / unclear. Cuts from newsreel 47/21 - Royal Tour of South Africa. Locations could include Port Elizabeth, Worcester and Queenstown. Shots taken from the spectator stand of crowd cheering as royal car moves slowly by. L/Ss of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother), Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret arriving at some kind of outdoor ceremony or function, walking onto a raised platform and off again to get into their car. Schoolchildren rush down the stand to wave as they go by. Shots of crowds in city streets watching and waiting for the royals to go by in their car. At a village (Po-El?) lines of Africans wait for the royals to arrive. The royal car goes by, with the Queen holding up a parasol. Then we see them go back in the opposite direction - just a fleeting visit! People in the crowds wave at the cars. The royals are seen at a kind of garden party, with throngs of people watching as they talk
