Out of a total of 5,428,573 votes for the nominees Dolly received 393,796. Putting her in 5th place. Many people said Dolly doesn’t deserve this honor well they’re wrong. Dolly is country always has been, but she has been a huge influence in the Rock & Roll world. The White Stripes recorded Jolene taking it to #1 in the UK as a rock song. Countless rock singers love and look up to Dolly & her songwriting and more! Dolly has proven herself as a huge influencer Worldwide across many genres of music. Rock will be another one of those. Dolly has also announced she is working on a rock album for 2023. Recording an Elton John song. Recording with Steven Pretty hoping to get Steven Tyler, Stevie Nicks and more! She also said there will be “At least 25 songs“ maybe more! This track “Rockin“ is also set to be on the album as well.
