3D-animation of Tissø in The Viking Age

The Visitor Center Fugledegård situated at the west bank of Lake Tissø has in collaboration with the research project ’pre-Christian Cult places’ at the National Museum of Denmark commissioned a 3D animation film visualizing the royal complex at the time around 900 AD. The 3D animation is financed by Visitor Center Fugledegård in cooperation with the research project ’pre-Christian Cult places’. The animation is produced by the Norwegian company Arkikon. At the Visitor Center Fugledegård has just opened a new exhibition ’Royal seat and Cult place - Vikings at Tissø’ that visualizes the archaeological remains and the functions of the large royal residential complex.
