L/S as the mayor is helped up onto the platform by a student dressed as a highwayman, crowds of people stand behind. The mayor pulls the covering off to reveal the guillotine. L/S as the highwayman conducts the rest of the students in a song, they are all wearing fancy dress. M/S as the mayor is put under the guillotine, the blade comes down and up again.
