Space March – Algorithm

‘Algorithm’ is the title track of the 2021 album by Space March. Stream / Download ➤ The influence of algorithms on modern life is ubiquitous. We sacrifice our self-worth to the mysterious whims of a “deity” that we can neither see nor understand. This song personifies and romances the algorithm, whilst posing the question “what do you do, when your algorithm doesn’t love you anymore?” The concept for this music clip was to feature an “Instagram influencer” posing and interacting seductively with her device’s screen, whilst the viewer is on the other side of the screen, watching as the “algorithm” manipulates and deconstructs her image into a surreal, multi-faceted digital representation of her former self.
