Marble Waves - The Chain Live (Fleetwood Mac cover)

On 24 October 2022, Marble Waves played the aftershow of the Counting Crows in AFAS Live, Amsterdam. The setlist included a cover by one of our favourite bands: Fleetwood Mac’s ’The Chain’. Right after playing the same cover at a gig earlier this week, we learnt about Christine McVie’s passing. Fleetwood Mac has been one of our big inspirations from the start, and it was strange to hear this sad news on stage. This video was meant for a later time, but we wanted to share it today in honour of her 💙 --- Marble Waves is an Amsterdam - based folk band whose style is heavily influenced by Americana, indie, and pop. Their music is known for its poetic lyrics, vocal harmony, and ethereal guitar work.
