Pluto Time

If you stood on Pluto at noon and looked around, the landscape would be illuminated about as brightly as on Earth soon after sunset. The team for NASA’s New Horizons mission dubbed this “Pluto Time.“ NASA asked people around the world to share pictures of what Pluto Time looks like where they live. Thousands of submitted Pluto Time images became the tiles in a mosaic showing Pluto and its moon Charon as seen by the New Horizons spacecraft during its flyby in July 2015. Credits: NASA.
