Marsel Salimov, Russia A prominent Russian satire writer, poet and publicist. Author of more than forty books in Russian, Bashkir, Tatar, Chuvash, English, Bulgarian. In 2016, the humourist’s book “The bird’s milk“ was published in the “Nabokov Prize Library“ series in English; and in 2017, the book named “The Book Which Has Never Been Written Before“ was published in the “Eurasian Creative Guild“ book series (London). He is a laureate of Sergei Mikhalkov, Vladimir Gilyarovsky (Russia), Aleko (Bulgaria), Nikolai Gogol (Ukraine), Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain (Canada), Jack London (USA), Charles 2 Dickens (Great Britain) international literary awards. The Honoured Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, was awarded with the Order of Friendship. People’s Writer of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
