Old Frame routines was originated by Chen Changxing, the 14th generation successor of the Chen style taijiquan at Chenjiagou. He developed Old Frame routines based on Chen Wangting’s taijiquan 5th routine, Cannon Hammer 1st routine, & 108 forms long fist 1st routine. 1st routine mixed temper force with grace. Movements are extended & graceful with agile & steady footwork. Un-aslant natural body form and inner strength commending the whole body with twine force as core & waist movement as primary movment. Each movement connects with next smoothly. If one part acts, the whole body will act Vice versa. The movements are natural & smooth. Smoothly for force, relax, loosen, flip & quiver together continuously.
