Strong, brave, beautiful, and graceful, Pegasus soared into battle with Perseus on his back to fight and defeat the ominous kraken. Hailed as a hero thousands of years ago in Greek mythology, today this hoofed master of the ground and winged master of the air, is a symbol of speed, strength, and inspiration, and, above all, represent a guide for humankind beyond the physical world to the realm where the spirit can soar without boundaries. Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), purple violet, deep yellow
Other: white chalk, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint background with purple, black and white.
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint light source and 1st layer of clouds with yellow, lavender (made in step 1), white and brown
3. Chalk – Draw outline of horse
4. #10 round brush – Paint base coat for horse and wings with brown, yellow and white
5. #2 round brush – Finish horse’s head with black, brown, white, tan (made in step3) and light yellow (made in step 2)
6. #2 round brush – Finish horse’s body and legs with black, brown, white and tan
7. #10 round brush – Finish mane and tail with black, brown, white, tan and light yellow
8. #10 round brush – Finish wings with black, brown, tan, light yellow, and white
9. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Finish clouds with white, lavender and light yellow
