Wagner Fighters Near Center Of Bakhmut, Russia Alleges “Kyiv’s Terror Attack”, Blinken Meets Lavrov

Wagner boss, Yevgeny Prigozhin claims his fighters have nearly reached the centre of the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut. Putin has claimed that Ukrainian saboteurs fired at civilians in a “terrorist” attack in Russia’s Bryansk region. Earlier in the day, Russia said its forces were fighting a “Ukrainian sabotage group” in the Bryansk region that borders Ukraine. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken briefly met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in their first such meeting since the war started.
