Save Paper Trailer (1948)

Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. A short trailer film encouraging people to save paper - Terry-Thomas stars. A woman sits in a shop and shop assistant (played by Terry-Thomas) serves her. He fills her pocket with rice and hangs meat and sausages around her neck - it appears that he is trying to save paper bags. He fills her hat with something and then pops an egg into her mouth. The shopper then leaves. Terry-Thomas then turns to the camera and warns us that this is what could happen if we don’t save paper. End title reads: “Save Paper For Food Cartons“.
