2 children killed in storms that spawned twister

(CNN) - Two children were killed and at least a dozen people were injured in Texas Saturday when storms caused at least one deadly tornado and severe damage to homes, according to the Associated Press and CNN. An 8-year-old and a 3-year-old were killed when winds toppled a tree onto the back of a car in Lufkin while it was in motion, the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office told the AP.
