For the rescue of personnel and military equipment Military awards were presented to specialists of the repair and evacuation units of the Vostok group of forces. The servicemen were awarded the Orders of Courage, medals “For Bravery“ and “For military distinctions“. The deputy commander of the Vostok group of troops, Major General Oleg Luchansky, presented combat awards to the repairmen right at their workplaces.
