The Seymour Duncan Dimebucker Can ONLY Nail the Pantera Sound! NO, YOU’RE WRONG! - Eric Morettin

The infamous Seymour Duncan Dimebucker has a long polarizing history stemming from Dimebag’s iconic guitar tone, misinformation, and lack of trying gear. The latter results in a negative rep, or a “very one-trick pony“ label for the pickup. This video is essentially proving a point that the Dimebucker is not a one-trick pony (as many have claimed it to be), and will take you into other sonic realms aside from Dimebag’s sound if you so choose. Leave a comment if you’d like to hear this in other contexts! All tones from the Seymour Duncan Dimebucker, into my Revv Generator MKII (Red Channel, bright, blue aggression, Contour engaged), Revv 2x12 (WGS Speakers) mic’d with a SM57. All of which going into a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 Gen 3. Tuning: Drop B, custom 12-56 gauge set from The String Source.
