Pavlova researchers judyanddavid very kindly identified the ballet here: ’Rose Mourante’. ’The 20th Century O-Z: Dictionary of World Biography’ states: ’Pavlova made one film (’The Dumb Girl of Portici’, 1915) and a series of test shots in Hollywood ... the test shots, filmed in 1924, included excerpts from some of her most popular dances: ’Christmas’, ’The Dying Swan’, ’Oriental dance’, ’Rose Mourante’, ’Fairy Doll’, ’The Californian Poppy’ and ’Columbine’.
