The AK Niner Mk1 project originated from the mid 2000’s and published in 2018. Since then, the accessory market for Kalashnikov patterned rifles have flourished... so has the rifle. The AK-Niner Mk 2 integrated a lighter MLOk rail to receive attachments but still could not use IR lasers without a zero shift, and also still relied on the side-rail to mount optics. The AK Niner Mk3 can now fully integrate western lights, lasers, MLOK accessories and optics while significantly decreasing the affects of heat on operations.
